The Role of Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs)
Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs) play an important role in helping small businesses secure financing by acting as intermediaries between business owners and funding organizations such as Capital Funds. By leveraging their industry knowledge and relationships with funders, ISOs simplify and expedite the funding process.
While ISOs and funders are distinct organizations, each with separate roles and responsibilities, they work collaboratively to help businesses receive financing that suits their needs. Below is an overview of how ISOs guide you through the process of securing revenue-based financing.
Acting as Your Liaison to Funders
Your funding journey begins with an ISO representative who evaluates your business and assesses your financing needs. Based on this information, they submit your application to specific funders and keep you informed from the initial submission until the funding stage.
Guiding You Through Underwriting, Managing Documentation, and Contract Signing
Once Capital Funds receives your application from the ISO, our underwriting team evaluates your business’s financials and overall health. If your application is approved, an offer will be sent to the ISO, who will review the details with you.
If you accept the offer, the ISO assists in gathering the required documents to finalize the agreement. Every deal typically requires certain documents, including:
-
Signed contract
-
Voided check
-
Driver’s license
-
Bank verification
If Capital Funds requires additional documentation or adjusts the offer based on new information, the ISO will communicate with both parties to ensure everything moves forward smoothly.
Ensuring a Smooth Transition to Funding
After the offer is finalized and the contract is signed, the process moves to the funding stage. At this point, you will work directly with Capital Funds to confirm personal details and review the terms of your contract.
Once this verification call is completed, your funds will be released, and you will gain access to our customer portal, where you can manage your account and monitor your progress. This is when you transition from working with the ISO to becoming a Capital Funds customer.
Collaborating for Business Growth
The collaboration between ISOs and Capital Funds ensures a streamlined and efficient process for small business owners seeking revenue-based financing. By guiding you through each step—from initial engagement and underwriting to contract signing, verification, and funding—the ISO and Capital Funds work together to provide your business with the financial support it needs to grow.
